That is an intensive series of working sessions to install the mindset of the working actor but do it under the most difficult conditions that you will face as an actor, the audition. If you can love what you do there, you can do it anywhere. That one starts with a two-hour intro session with me. Next you will take the class and see the results of the different approach. The first class and the intro session are free. After that the class will rotate through Monologs, Commercials, Frozen readings, Improv, etc. Don’t miss a week. You’ll miss a lot. This class is limited to 10 ACTORS plus 2 spaces for make up students. Los Angeles and San Diego: Tuition is $200 - for four weeks. If you start in the middle of the session your first payment will be prorated to however many weeks are left ($150-3, $100-2, $50-1). Murrieta: Class - $180 for 4 weeks $45 per class.
Scene Study Class - by invitation only. Students that have mastered the audition environment may be invited to this class in four-week stints. You must commit to every class and must not miss a class during this 4-week period. You will be assigned one or more partners and will take a scene to every dimension. You must also be willing to meet outside class with your partner to rehearse. This class is not on camera. $200 for 4 weeks @ $50 per class. This class is limited to 10 ACTORS
The Marketing Seminar is a one-time class that I do 3 times a year. It starts with a survey done by the whole class on how they see you that is quantifiable. We take the results and start to establish what strategies you should use in your marketing materials to get past the roadblocks. Then you will cast a project and see why certain headshots get picked and others get dumped and trust me it's not what you think. Then we cover agents and managers how to get them but more importantly how to make them work for you. We cover contracts, showcases, alternate submissions, demo reels, goal setting, ending procrastination, solving crisis through mission statement, how to turn acquaintances into allies, and much more. Everyone who takes this class changes their headshots and everyone who takes the class walks away with a new drive to overcome the now understandable industry. You may retake this class for $50- , and many do, because there is so much to absorb. You will receive a packet of materials about an inch thick that you will use to refer to in the future. $215- First time $50- retake
KIDS CLASS/Private Sessions - Basically I work one on one with your child and you whether it’s a class setting or a Private Session to get him/her to understand what to do and what everything means. For someone her/his age getting you to understand is even more important so I strongly advise that you be in all sessions. The private sessions are $125.00 per hour and usually we set up a once a week time. I am currently running about 12 of these but I can probably make a time for you if you are interested. Lastly I want you to understand my philosophy with kids. I think they have natural desire to want to live in imaginary worlds and feel things. Children’s feelings are very strong and never wrong. Their behavior may be inappropriate but never the feeling that brings the behavior about. This is their intuition and stomping on it will be a great detriment to them and make them complain about all of us to their therapist in 25 years!! I am very careful to make sure that nothing that I do takes priority over your child being a healthy and happy child. I do not work with parents trying to live out their dreams through their children or forcing their children to do something that they are not interested in. Private Sessions/ Adults - I will work with you on whatever it is that you want to work on. Bring in an audition, let me give you a monologue, you’re stressed and need perspective, you have marketing questions, you want to work auditions like crazy, you want to go over in detail how to best prepare or memorize material, etc. I am here for you.
